THEME: LAUNCH INTO THE DEEP – LUKE 5:4
“NOW WHEN HE HAD LEFT SPEAKING, HE SAID UNTO SIMON, LAUNCH OUT INTO THE DEEP, AND LET DOWN YOUR NETS FOR A DRAUGHT.”
SUNDAY – 26TH JANUARY
DAY FIVE – BREAKING LIMITATIONS – HOSEA 10:12
Pharaoh told the people of Israel that they can go and worship their God but they should not go far (Exodus 8:28). Devil doesn’t want you to go deeper in your walk with God, because he knows if he allows you to go deeper, you will be a terror to Him. Hence, he brings a lot of distractions like fear, laziness, sin, doubt, prayerlessness to limit you. The Lord will help you to confront every limitation hindering you from accessing His glory and power. Amen.
PRAYER POINTS:
1. “… And it shall come , when you become restless, that you shall break the yoke from your neck” (Genesis 27:40) When you tolerate certain situations in your life, you tolerate and pamper sin it becomes a yoke, and hinders you from moving away from your current status quo. Until you become restless and be fed up about the situation you can’t break loose. Today, you must be restless in your spirit and confront anything hindering you from going deeper in the Lord. Eyes have not seen, ear have not heard the beautiful things God has in stock for you in this year.
a. Ask the Lord for mercy, for dwelling so long at a spot when He expected you to move to another level.
b. Lord, I separate myself from every entanglement of sin. I separate myself from every evil covenant. Isaiah 52:1-2
c. I break loose from every yoke limiting me from moving forward. (Begin to break every yoke) Acts 12:7-8
d. Begin to pray for youths under the captivity of the enemy. let the chains be broken right now. Isaiah 49:24-25
2. Begin to break up every fallow ground in your life. – Jeremiah 4:3 A fallow ground is a ground which has once been tilled, but has gotten hard and now lies waste. It needs to be broken up and made soft again, before it is ready to receive seed. Examine your life and pinpoint those fallow ground in your life and begin to ask the Lord to do a work in you.
3. We overcame by the blood of the lamb; Begin to plead the blood of Jesus over your foundation, over your bloodline. Nothing shall limit me. (Revelation 12:11)
4. Lord, I separate myself from every wrong foundation, wrong association. I separate myself today. Pray in the spirit. (2 Cor. 6:17-18)
