THEME: LAUNCH INTO THE DEEP – LUKE 5:4
“NOW WHEN HE HAD LEFT SPEAKING, HE SAID UNTO SIMON, LAUNCH OUT INTO THE DEEP, AND LET DOWN YOUR NETS FOR A DRAUGHT.”
FRIDAY – 24TH JANUARY
DAY THREE – THE PLACE OF HIS PRESENCE – EXODUS 33:15-16; PSALM 23:4
The place of His presence is a place of power, it is a place of encounter, it is a place of intimate fellowship, A place of revelation. God wants a deep relationship with us this year. Deep calls unto the deep. The more you go deeper, the more you access the deep secrets of the Lord. Just as the Lord told Peter to launch out to the deep, He is telling us the same. It is time to leave the surface level and access the deep thing of the Lord. It is time to seek for more of Him, because there is more than what you are seeing now.
PRAYER POINTS:
– Begin to bless the name of the Lord who had given us access to His presence. We can now come boldly to His presence to obtain grace. (Hebrews 4:16)
– Ask the Lord to take you into His Secret Place. Pray it fervently.
– The presence of the Lord demands consecration. Are there things you need to separate yourself from? Lord, grant me the grace to disengage myself from any activity that will take me away from your presence. (Genesis 32:21-24)
– O Lord, give me an encounter. (Cry unto the Lord) – Genesis 32:24. Jacob prevailed in the place of prayer and he had a spectacular testimony and encounter. His name was changed from Jacob to Israel. When God encounters you he always leaves a trace or mark of remembrance.
– Ask the Lord to create in you the hunger for more of Him. If you are not hungry you can’t desire for more. You will be comfortable at your current position and level.
– Lord, by the Spirit of revelation, I launch into unsearchable depth you have blessed me with. (Ephesians 1:3)
– Ask the Lord to grant you the Spirit of wisdom, revelation and knowledge of Him. (Ephesians 1:17)
– Ask the Lord to help you to stay in His presence. Most times we are too quick to run out of His presence. Ask the Lord for the staying power.
