Youth Time-Out February, 2022

The first edition of youth time-out began on the 6th of February by 4:30pm. There was a buzz of excitement in the air as this was the beginning of something new. Since this was the first time we were having this, it started at 4:30pm as opposed to 4:00pm due to preparations. We opened the program with a prayer and then allowed Kadosh (choir)  to take us through some praises.

The next thing was a social talk on the topic Addiction which was taken by Mr Abel our youth corper, we looked at addiction at the point of behavioural addiction. It was a very interactive time as people asked different questions on the topic and their questions were answered by all of us. We ended this session with a poem by Subi Mera Joseph on addiction. It can be found here.

We moved into a round of worship by the Kadosh to usher in our Co-Ordinator who give us a short exposition on Little Strength.

It was a very beautiful time fellowshipping together as a lot of people came even exceeding the number of people expected. See you in the March Edition!

Why be addicted with the following

When you can be in bond with the Most Holy

Why still deep in the flesh

When the blood of Christ is fresh

Fresh to cleanse you; to make you brand new

Instead of being addicted to pornography

Why not be in bond with the Almighty

Instead of taking marijuana

Why not go to Abba Father

You’re bothered by the so called materials

When you’re supposed, to be thinking of things that are eternal.

-Subi Mera Joseph
