Youth Time-Out March, 2022

The second edition of youth time-out began on the 6th of March by 4:00pm.  After the enjoyment of last month’s gathering, we were looking forward to what this month had for us. We opened the program with worship and prayer.

This month’s topic was on dating and relationship and the entertainment department gave us a drama on relationship, depicting the kind of things that go on in relationships, these days. It was very informative and entertaining.

The next thing was the main agenda of the day, a talk on dating/ courtship, this was given to us by our coordinator, Dr Mrs. Chinyere Oko-jaja,. She outlined different things concerning dating/ relationship which brought to light things we must know. Questions were asked and different people answered. It can be found here.

  • The basis of relationships is to improve the quality of life of one another.
  • Don’t live a parasitic kind of life, add value to your life so that you won’t be dependent on people and be feeding off of them.
  • There are 3 aspects of intimacy in a relationship( spiritual, mental, physical)
  • We must first be spiritually compatible before anything else.
  • Continuous emotional attachment to different relationships will lead to loss of emotional stickiness.

We had such a great time together (someone even wrote about it here). See you in the April Edition!
