God Knows Me
Passage: Ps. 139

Recently, I was stuck in a state of mind where I was forced to question my vision. I was at a crossroad and I felt so passionless and confused on my vision and what I was supposed to do with my life. In fact I even took a quiz on how to know my passion and the only things it told me were things I already knew and things that I knew were untrue. In the midst of my confusion I decided to stop trying futile methods and turned to God, the only person who knows me.
And the Lord brought me to Ps.139 which quickly became one of my favourite scriptures, I advise you to read the full chapter. Reading this passage assured me that He knows me and is intentional with me. vs 4 says “Even before there is a word on my tongue [still unspoken], Behold, O Lord, You know it all.” I have a twin sister so the way I understand this verse is very vivid. Sometimes I and my sister can have a full conversation with only few words in fact she sometimes she knows what I’m about to say even before I say it. But the fact the God knows me even more than she does not just because I am one of his many creations but because he is that intentional with me continues to blow my mind.
So I want to tell you that God knows you more that you know yourself. He knows your past, present and future. You may not know all that God has made you to be in fact your life may not even “look like much” right now but You ca trust Him to lead you to purpose He made you for. I tell you that it has not even crossed the minds of men what God has in store for you. So continue to trust Him and align to His plans and purpose for you. They may seem invisible or unrealistic to you and others but not to God.
Prayer: “Lord I am at a crossroad, I do not know where to go or what path would lead to the purpose for which you called me. Help me to trust that you are loving and able to lead me to the path that leads to the purpose and plans you prepared for me.”
